Hiya well yeah its been a LONG TIME from the last time i was here . And most people are woundering were i have been so here is a quick thing. I work at a summer camp for kids and at first i did not use the internet there and its super slow anyway so i was just on chat and i am on one of my days off been there for almost weeks nots and wanted to check the site. for the most part i am just going to stop it soon. I been talking to some people and we have come up with a great idea and things to do for a great other site. So that is something i will work on and try to have done by the time the school year starts fr me which is about 5 weeks. So lets see what i can do. The only thing i can let you guys know about the site is. The following
Myspace for anime, Giea with out there random charaters that you customize and there werid world. And an archive of anime to let you track what you have seen and not.
Just some minor things i have done before i have to start exams. So wish me some luck. I have added a new forum to the site so everyone can just post new anime episodes there . If you have a request for a series then leave a comment here or pm me and i will add a subforum. If i see new epiosdes of that seires being added alot then i I will make the subforum I am about to install some more anti spam stuff.
The next thing is i am trying to think of a way to get more traffic to the site. The standered way. Is people just mass spam other people and the site just grows that way until it has alot of user traffic. I would like to avoid that if i can but if we have to i guess thats the way it will have to be.
So if anyone has any ideas let me know. I do have a link for you guys so if you want to embed a video that is on veoh to someone elses site you can put the adw player there. That works just fine. Let me give you a post that will teach you how to do that.
Well i guess its time to give you a music one. I have had this done for a while way before manga but when i wanted to share this with everyone. The server where it is was not working so i just gave you guys some manga. And called it a day but i checked today and that server seems to be working so i am going to do some clocling things to it when i get home. Just to let know this one has the highest chance of not working but lets hope that it keeps working for us which would be over all perfect. So feel free to use it like any of the other thigns i have added to the site latly.
The next thing i will be doing is addin an rss feed to the site this means that i put the anime title with epiosde number in to a system and a link to the video. Then if you have become a memebr on the rss on your web browser if that is firefox or which ever ones have it you will be able to click and check if the new epiisode are there so its faster then having to load another site to check and its always heere for you to know.
So every one have fun with that i am doing my exames on at a time so i should be here still so i wont just fanish for a bit like some people have. Well talk to you all later but i do have some videos to show you guys which speedy showed me it will make you have a secound thought about anime fan subs.
So to what i can see we are back online and it sucked to have been offline and all those things i gues i have to tell you guys what happened. But to start off to my knolage we have all the posts and the site is back to where it was just as it went off line. So there is nothing toworry about just going to check around in a few min to make sure its up to speed.
The site we have no idea what happened the server we are hosted on with less then 75 other sites it just stoped it ran super slow as you were able to tell and sometimes would say it could not connect to the database. This was becuase for a time the database was failing and because we are the biggest site on the server it all pointed to us. So i made a back up on the slow server and then suspened the accont to see if that would fix the server.
But nothing happened it was a night mare so i asked a freind if i could put my site on his server but there were to erros the first one was that the video section did not want to work and the server did not want to take out database at the time. So i started making my own server which idone but this server is back up and running so we will use this until in a few days when i get a new internet line which will be 3 times faster.
At that time i will put us on that server well just the database and keep the files here so it does not slow my internet down to much but just a bit. And i always have back ups of the files becuase thats easy but the database changes alot everytime you login or write a post or just about do most things on the site it is stored in teh database.
Well lets hope this does not happen again and this time justto state the server not working had nothing to do with me so now you cant blame me. Sorry that it took so long. I been speaking to some people and i guess its getting to the time when we should start advertising the site if we want it to get bigger so i guess we will have to come up with a game plan.
So well i would have a music player for you but for some reason the thing does not work and i dont know why and i will have to find out why that is is true but for now i am going to give you guys something better going to give you the manga thing i been working on its done for now. The videos are done and everything seems to be running well dont ask me why but it all seems to be running well. I dont know what i am going to make next but i will come up with something if anyone has any ideas just let me know and i will not mind making what every you guys think would be great on an anime site.
The next thing i resized is we are one of the few sites with out ads or asking for a donation or any of that stuff. So dont worry i work hard and the site will be payed for unlike all the other sites that are out there for the extra money and the owners are not willing to put there money down to share the things they love with others oh well. I am going to shut up now. Here is the link to the manga and it will also be posted on the top bar.
I am goingto make this one pretty fast becuase i am really tried. for the past 18+ hours i been working hard. Because many other site admins said they havebeen having a hard time with the new veoh player and some are having a hard time using the old player so things were not looking so good so i spent so much time on a way to get the direct file paths for the veoh videos. I lernt there secret and now it is mine i have the flv file to use in any way i want i can put it in vlc player or anything so now we have a player for our sleves to use. With a little logo. I did not add embeding becuase its not databssed really and the links for the veoh die every 5 or so min so i had to make the system change the links on every load. I think the way i made it there wont be ANY video that does not work and if its not working it means veoh is doing there streaming matance.
I added a place with the download link for the flv file. Its still not perfect you want to click the link and if it gives you an error go to the url bar and just click press enter and it should start. If that does not work go back to the video page. And right click the link. click copy link then put that in the url bar now that should work if it gives you an erro again reaload the whole page because veoh changed the url again.
I hope to add a few more things with that. I am also sorry for all the spam i will kill the other half of it sometime tonight. And finsh up the manga secection but not give you a link and give you a link to the music one. Well i have not spelt in 20 hours. So i am going to sleep for a bit now and then come on. Again later when i get to my hotel room.
This will be short just to let you know sometime in the last week or the veoh system went down and no one told me that it went down so i was fixing it for almost 4 hours to day but it seems to be working fine now just was a pain it now uses the new veoh player. The page may load slower but i cant tell because the i am not home. But next time if you see something isn ot working just let me know dont leave it up to the someone else will the more people that report it to me tells me how imprant it is to the site and makes me do it faster.
Yeah its been a couple of days no the site did not die or anything it was a server change the server that we were on was removed. But we were moved to a faster better server but there were so many delays on the server and what not that it took me so long to set it up with another guy. But i was able to get it working. There are still somethings so if the sites a but buggy or i dont post for a week tis the 20,000+ settings i am working on. But i am backing up things a lot may not be like every hour but more then once a day a back up will be bad and then put on my desktop computer.
Other then that i have one more system that is done i will put it up when i am done with one more system just so i always have a little extra extra on the back burners for us. All i can say about the new one is get your head phones out and the one i am going to make in a week or so make sure to pull out the glasses.
I think thats what you need. OH YEAH we have a new staff member here. Her username is XxMoonWolfxX. She is nice and wont kill you. She will talk about her self when she feels like it. Dont give her a hard time. Also i am rebuilding the admin software so non of the staff other then me can do much. This system will be done lets say in the next 3 days. I am in the middle of running lots of site tuning and stuff like that. So have fun and enjoy the anime.
So while i was working on the site fixes i started to get really really board and i did not want to stop working on the site so i thought well i could make the site something that they could use and then i will not feel like i would be wasting time. So i sat down and thought what could i make the memebrs and it finally came to me somethingi been telling you guys i would would make for you. So i spent a whole day just setting up the ground work for it made it and then spent a good amount of to day fixing some bugs adddings somethings even those it is still not done it is at the point wre it is still able to be loved by the people that use it. So i have shown a few people this system.
I went on line and looked for other people that had something like this. The only people that have it or can do it if tuned with the right settings are the major search sites and then the site where this comes from its self. I had blood sweat tears love joy any thing you could think of trying to but this thing together for you guys. And when i sat down to use it all i could do was smile.
Now by now you are sitting at so close to the screen you should just marry the thing. Your trying to see what i made for you guys. First of there are still a fair amount of bugs in the system but most are minor and should not make your enjoying of the system and more painful then it should be. Next if it breaks it means i am updating it and i wont leave it broken it would be oops i forgot to end the line of code, or something dumb like that. The system can be made faster will be made faster but needs sometime for me to do so much to it you need to remeber that i am a one person team right now.
So i think i have driven you all to the point where you are ready to pull your hair out. What could kara make for us that she would make us wait like dogs. I have made you a veoh searcher. So none of that when you go to a web site and they put the embed code and then veoh removes the video and then your like NOOOOOOOO and you start to suffer and panic and all those great parts of the watching anime on the internet part of life. This will search veoh. show you all the ones that have what your looking for. Click it it will load you a new window get some pop-corn, and have some fun.
Now there are some nice things that i am adding one thing is once you start the video under it click the "Darken Backgroun" part that will make the area around the video darker giving you something that would seem alot like going to the movies. I am adding video resize stuff and lots of fun stuff. So now you can just watch your anime on the site as well. One thing i was able to do is when you go to veoh to load a video the page the video is on can take a life time to load blame the veoh people for making really bad codes at times and there add system. I am able to make it alot faster so somethings will be blazing fast.
So the hair pulling is the banging on the table or doorling because you want this system to use so i guess i should give you guys the links so you can enjoy it my self. Oh and just a side note i used google for searching for the videos and i think google updates the database everyday and then a really big update once a week persite. ALl i can say now is have a lot of fun with with it spead the world because now we have some thign so cool that we can put our selves on the map with.

So if you want it to be removed you will need to conent the server it is being hosted on.
